Bernado silva open to convince man u target to make a transfer u-turn.

Bernardo Silva has hinted at a potential move to Manchester City for Joao Neves, aiming to disrupt any prospective Manchester United interest. Neves, 19, has excelled at Benfica, notably filling the void left by Enzo Fernandez, who moved to Chelsea last summer for £105 million. Neves' impressive form has garnered attention from leading European clubs, with Manchester United linked to a potential move. Reports indicate regular scouting by United's Erik ten Hag, and club captain Bruno Fernandes has praised the young talent. However, Silva's subtle suggestion adds an intriguing twist to the transfer saga.

"I'm thrilled for Joao Neves and the emerging talents at Benfica and the national team," Silva expressed in remarks reported by Jornal de Noticias. Emphasizing the quality of players in the Premier League, he noted Neves' focus on the club and his promising future. While Silva acknowledged Neves' integration into the national team, he humorously hinted at advocating for a move to Manchester City, saying, "If I can, I'll put a wedge in for him to go to Manchester City, of course, I would."

Silva, previously linked with a move away from City, signed a contract extension until 2026. The 29-year-old aims to contribute to City's legacy and harbors ambitions of winning a World Cup with the national team, underlining his commitment to both club and country.
