Juventus hope for strike to sign extension amid interest from Europe's top teams.

Juventus remains optimistic about securing a contract extension for Dusan Vlahovic, despite interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, according to sources confirmed to 90min. The club invested €70m in Vlahovic in January 2022 after his prolific goal-scoring performance at Serie A rivals Fiorentina. While the Serbian striker had a challenging 2022/23 season, scoring 10 goals in 27 Serie A appearances, there were speculations about his potential departure during the 2023 summer transfer window.

In June, sources revealed that Vlahovic expressed a desire to leave Juventus during the summer, a sentiment supported by manager Max Allegri. Despite interest from prominent clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich, Vlahovic ultimately remained with Juventus beyond the transfer deadline.
Despite a back injury, Dusan Vlahovic has showcased a return to form in the early stages of the 2023/24 Serie A season, contributing four goals and one assist for Juventus. The club is reportedly eager to secure a longer-term deal for Vlahovic and has initiated negotiations with his representatives. Juventus aims to extend his contract until 2028, with the current deal set to expire in 2026. Sources indicate that Vlahovic, who has experienced an improved goal-scoring run, is content in Turin.

While Juventus actively works on securing Vlahovic's future, long-standing admirers Arsenal and Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation. Juventus is concurrently engaged in negotiations with Federico Chiesa for a new contract. As they pursue a title challenge in Serie A, Juventus aims to retain key assets, with the opportunity to claim the top spot in the league with a victory against Inter on Sunday evening.
